I am Leg End
Out of the squad this will be the team then:-

-----------------Hart--------------------

--GJ--------Rio------Cahill-------Cole------

---Walcott---Gerrarrd--Carrick---Milner-----

-------------Welbeck-----Rooney----------------

This would be my team, which would be better than anything Hogdson could do:-

-----------------------Hart--------------------------------

---GJ--------Cahill----------Dawson--------Baines---------

-----------------Carrick-----Gerrard---------------------------

------Lennon---------Rooney------------AOC---------------

---------------------Sturridge-----------------------------

I'd leave Rio out, not a big fan of his and I don't understand/support him being recalled.

Other than that, I like the line-up, especially the one with Sturridge as I see Rooney more in a supporting position and find Welbeck overrated. I believe that Hodgson is going to play brave Parker beside Gerrard and not Carrick.

Why do you think that?

Would probably be my team, I think Chamberlain is very hyped & Walcott despite actually being productive, for the most part is straight up awful, couldn't even control the ball/make a pass against Bayern but managed to score, sums him up really.

Not a great side, but not the worst.

I agree on Fat Frank but Gerrard was England's best performer during the Euros and is bossing the midfield for Liverpool right now. In the form he is in at the moment, he can only be an asset for England who are going to miss Wilshere's creativity.

If you mean the two of them together, then I agree and misunderstood the post. They suck together.

Not as much that they suck together but never put two big guys with big egos in the same position. Spain gets away with it because Xabi and Xavi are able to work together and Xabi stays behind alongside Busquets and let's Xavi go upfield. Plus if I were deciding I'd look to the future and disregard those two and Rio. Quality or not, experience or not, England needs new blood that gels together as a team. Should move away from the past, forget about Brazil 2014, and aim for Euro 2016. If they can come to terms by 2014, perfect, else they'll have enough time to prepare for 2016.

What am I arguing for anyways, I've never liked England, neither the league nor the NT.

It's impossible to play 4-3-3 with Lampard, Gerrard and Carrick, they're not mobile enough. Gerrard was the holding player against Brazil for this reason alone.

England are really strong at this level at the moment. The team haven't conceded a goal since 2011, and haven't been playing defensively either. With Will Hughes, Will Keane, Alex Pritchard missing etc., I think in Europe there's probably only Spain that are better right now. Famous last words of course...

Rio looks a bit of a tit now. Been whining about no call up for about two years, Hodgson calls his bluff, and he fucks off back to United with his tail between his legs...
