Reverted back to his early barca performances. Dwelled on the ball too much, making passes that put his teammates under pressure, poor first touch, poor distribution. Just clumsy allround.

Yea at times he dwells on the ball too much, as if he's too relaxed. It's weird, a week ago he puts in that performance against Real Madrid which was as good as any performance of his in a Barca short, then this....just hope he's fully recovered from cancer, still concerned by him not re-signing :s

The stuff he did would be the same, even if he was used as a Lb.

Disagree. Tonight was a poor performance granted but there is a pattern where he often has bad performances when called upon in this role. Even this short stint has proved that. Disastrous at the Bernabeu and tonight in that position, immense at the Camp Nou last week in his natural role

It was not much about the defending aspect, it was more about him trying to be too cute with the ball when he could've simply cleared the ball or pass it to a teammate.

It has nothing to do with overreaction. It's about a position which Barca is short on the options. If the available players don't live up to expectations then it will become a serious manner.
