Why wouldn't he be able to play again? If he's been training then obviously he feels he's going to play again. There would be no point to him making this effort if he couldn't make a contribution to the team. He could have just retired a long time ago but he still wants to play.

He's definitely going to play again. He's been training hard and becoming fit and doctors even say he'll be ready to play soon. A transplant is a serious surgery but Abi is strong so there is no reason that he won't play again.

Training is very different from playing. There´s almost no contact, specially in barça with those rondo´s. Just because he´s training does not mean he will play like before.

According to MD, he was discharged from the hospital this past monday, and will return to training next week.
