We already know how you feel about the matter. We've seen you try to convince people you're right at least a dozen times already. You seem to be among the very small minority who thinks so, though.

You think Barcelona got rid of Abidal to save money?

I actually hope that Abi goes to Bayern and plays very well against us when/if we meet Bayern(ofc with a Barca win in the end).

The way he has been treated is just

He has shown that he still is a very solid CB/LB option and they could have atleast given him the pre season or a 6 month contract to prove himself!

All departments of the club were asked about a possible renewal of Abidal. The doctors in the end couldn't give their approval. [sport]

Strange that the same doctors didn't tell Abi to stay at home because if he continues to play would put his life in danger..or that the same doctors weren't consulted when they renewed Puyol and Adriano's contracts. Though maybe next season we will have a surprise and see an injury free Adriano.

There is difference between recovering from leg, shoulder or foot injury and liver tumor and playing with transplant.

Personally, I would have given Abi the contract, and I was very disappointed by the way the whole affair was conducted, because even harsh decision can be carried out with respect and decency. But, if the board renews abi's contract, and next season the strain turns out to be too much and he has a break down, everyone would scream "how could rosell be so stupid and renew a contract with a tumor patient, this is a disaster, we are not the salvation army" with laporta at the head of the mob. It was a harsh, cold decision, but it was done rationally, not because rosell enjoys the suffering of other people.

Haha awesome. I still don't understand how the squad short on CBs and could use a defensive LB to alternate with Alba and they have Abidal finally healthy again who can play CB very, very well as well as being a more defensive option at LB but they let him just leave?

I hope Montoya gets more minutes because Adriano is not as good of a defender and is so injury prone.
