Talked with a friend right now who said that Abi played like he did at his best with us. Doing quite well!

Yeah he did very well. Its really not understandable, even if he wasn't able to get back on full rhythm again he could provide us cover for a short period but right now he seems going back in it game by game. We needed someone to rely on and they let him go...in what logic..

Can't believe our management didn't want to keep him. The old adage " Class is permanent" most definitely applies to Abi.

I agree with you guys. Letting Abidal go was a horrible, horrible decision and we will regret it. He is still a world class defender and would be immensely useful to us right now.

I can't understand it either, especially as his position is one were we are weakest.

If we bagged Silva or Luiz sure it's understandable. The fact that we can't even get Agger and still lost Abi is infuriating.

I can´t even put into words how this matter annoys me. He would not be a cover, he would be a starter. At his best he was better than Piqué.
