Not only did we give away a great defender and kept the likes of pique (who isn't even good enough for a side like Everton) but we also didn't sign a CB
I think Oxford got a perfect example to illustrate the meaning of "a massive f""k up"

L'équipe just reported that we didn't even pay Abidal when he was having the treatment for cancer. Any truth in this?

I guess such things are agreed while signing on the contract... a long term absence has got to give the club the right to retain their money! It would have been a really good move on the club's part if they paid the player though
