Got any proof for that theory when Abidal himself has been quoted in the press as saying he wants to end his career at Barcelona?

people say a lot of shit in the press... i wouldn't be surprised if higher wages come into play especially since he's only got a few good years left. might see it as a much needed pay day. i would love for him to finish with barca but i wouldn't be surprised if he left.

He is 32 and has 8 months left on his deal. If he's leaving, it'll be for a tiny fee or for free next summer. Hopefully he signs a new deal.
