Replied above.

Result merchantism ruling today as in any other day he scores lot.

Watch the goals again. Watch all his goals for City again.
A collection of tap-ins, headers, last ditch tackles, and ALL of them huge chances (xG>>0.3)
Only 1 goal out of the 17 where he showed a truly WC striker action.

Compare that to Lewa's goals or Benzema's last season
Think of how many goals Lewa could have scored if he was playing for city

He wins almost every aerial. That's class. Super physical, can't get him off the ball. Also class. Lewa would score for sure, but you are singing different tune. Thought you said Haaland would have trouble scoring?

Where did I say he is not winning aerials or not shoving everyone away??? Where did I say he won't score goals for City??

Class is a different thing.
class is the goal Lewa scored yesterday, which Haaly will NEVER score in a million years of football

Put him in the XI yesterday Mallorca game. He does nothing, game ends 0-0 (Xavi's tactics at fault, unlike Pep who always gives him chances of xG>0.4 to finish)
He doesn't have the class to score a goal out of nowhere like Benzema Kane and Lewa

Never said you said he would never score.

You questioned him fitting well in the team and the easiness to scoring. Correct me if I am wrong? He is destroying EPL.

Data doesn't lie. Haaland scoring nearing 2 goals a game in EPL means he is better than Lewa who has reached this scoring rate neither in BL or LL.

Lewa isn't playing for such attacking machine like City

I questioned his fitting in the 'tough' and important games. Jury is still out for him, we haven't seen those games yet nor the CL knock-outs.
If he proves to be important for City there, and helps them get results, I will admit I was wrong to question that.

The other thing that is undeniable is his lack of technique despite his goals

Birdy, Haaland has to not only score goals, but also significantly improve City as a team to be considered a success for you?

When a team gets 90+ points and 100+ goals about every season, there is little room for improvement.

So basically, he has to win them UCL this season?

Lets be honest here... I`ve watched all of his goals for City as well as plenty of highlights from the games. He is big, strong, extremely fast and agile and he has an excellent movement and understanding of the game. He is also a natural, instinctive finisher. But.... all of his goals do look rather simple. Haaland sort of reminds me of a Thomas Muller on steroids. Lots of tap-ins, sliding goals, all sorts of opportunistic maneuvers. His tehcnical skills are fairly limited. He cannot run with the ball, cannot dribble, cannot do much else than run and finish. Something wrong with that? Not at all! Just.. dont get carried away too much. He plays in a well-oiled machine that is Manchester City. Every striker with enough sense and physical qualities would get tons of goals. I`ve yet to see a Haaland-goal that is really great. Well, maybe the one vs PSG but generally speaking... his goals look like shit!
