Because you keep repeating the same thing.

Use Mou comparison on style as a negative and then when people disgaree you flip it to being some kind on compliment about success and not style.

Who plays better attacking football than Barca in europe?

Madrid, Bayern, City.

Based on what?

Chances? Possession? Goals?

Well, City create the most chances and have the most possession. Only team that is playing positional football at its best atm. The rest just stay back and play on transitions for large portions in big games. Bayern and City are the least dependent on individual players' output. Madrid is the 3rd least dependent, Barca is the most dependent, as in without Messi, or him contained, more than half our attacking capabilities go out of the window (80% would be more likely). We are less structured in how we go forward than all others mentioned.

In short, Barca's attacking plan is as simple as to find Messi and from there he will dictate what to do and where to insist. Once in a good position, score-wise, go with a low block (2 banks of 4 with Messi and Suarez having limited defensive duties), play on the counter with Messi in space. Everything is about Messi.

I'm sorry, but I don't find a team that plays like that, with so many things just tied to one player, to match well against more complete teams, with more a structured attacking phase.

Ok so thats the criteria for City.... in a poorer league?

So on that criteria Barca are better attacking wise than Bayern and Real.

Messi is part of the Barca attack and one it is built round so yes he counts towards it.

Barca with Messi you think Real and Bayern are stronger going forward... based on what?

No no dont you see we have to discount Messi to judge the Barca attack.

No, you just have to know how to build attacks without going through him 90% of the time. Do that, and maybe you won't get kicked out 3 times in the last 4 years by AM and Juventus when they manage to block Messi.

So Barca are so dependent on Messi they have been poorer this season going forward than Real, City and Bayern?

Based on what stats? Goals, possession, chances?

Terrible argument and trying to go in different direction now.

Man, leave out stats for now. All season in CL we haven't had a single high pressure game against a big team. Maybe away to Chelsea was the only one, where we suffered all game and again, we were lucky not to lose. La Liga is one thing, having peak level of play to face the biggest teams and win is another thing.

The draw in QF was very kind for us, we got an easy pass into the semis. The point now is that Messi has to be in amazing form to be able to win that semifinal. Valverde's tactics in offense have been mostly all about Messi. When he had an off game, the opponent almost beat itself (Roma). So far it's working but it's just not going to cut it for long.

Haha 'leave out stats' because you cant back it up on any stats that matter but stats are relevant for Man City...

What high pressure game have City or Bayern excelled in the CL that you like to hold them to such high levels?

They dont count apparently.

But City and Bayern must be smashing teams the top teams for fun in the CL...

They scored twice in two games v a Chelsea that were barely motivated as well but Barcas shitty attack scored 4 flukes v Chelsea so Man City are clearly superior on all fronts.
