Ernesto Valverde - V1

Then u are fucking dumb as well, it isnt about signing a bunch of Galaticos and you are set. If it was so easy, then dumb fans like you can continue to be delusional.

Yes I am so dumb, thanks for proving me wrong. Can you tell me who are the best clubs in the world and how did they acquire their players?

For starters: Neither Arthur or Dembele are likely to be a part of the Starting Lineup with Griezmann coming in and Rakitic having the eternal trust of all our managers. You can probably add Semedo to that list with golden boy Roberto around.

Dembele likely not be a starter lmfao :D We paid 200m for a bench player right? Our attack will be rotated massively and no1 will be a clear "not starter"

Valverde needs to go. If we win the Copa along with the league (which is all but done), does anyone here think this crony board will sack Valverde? I find it impossible to see it happening. Valverde might be the most detrimental disease inflicting the club at this stage, making the transition from Barca to Milan or post Ferguson GGMU.

He needs to be sacked this afternoon :troll:

"We will get exposed by big teams" said guys.
Yet, Juve 3:0, Juve 0:0, Real 3:0.

This team don't play too nice, but lol, this team is defensively the strongest Barca since... I don't know when.

Even Xavi-Iniesta-Busi Barca managed to concede 3-4 goals tons of times against RM and strong teams.

A fun fact:
In the last 25 matches, Barca had 18 clean sheets (lol) and conceded goals only 7 times.
Out of 25 matches, Barca conceded
1. 0 goals at 18 matches
2. 1 goal at 6 matches
3. 2 goals at 1 match (Celta)

Sack FraudVerde :troll:
We will get exposed sooner or later :p

Wow, this post has aged worse than Valverde himself.

Sorry, but (IF this reproduced story is true) i keep laughing at the idea of players who were nowhere on the pitch were criticizing EV's tactics.
Someone should wake them up.
Busquets said the only true thing: It's not a coincidence if it happens again and again and again, that the team doesn't show up for important CL away Knock-out games.

Hmmmm maybe their subpar performance has something to do with Valverde setting them up to play like Atletico?

Edit: not to mention Messi has saved Valverdes ass countless of times throughout the season so he has every right to take a shit on him.

Wow, this post has aged worse than Valverde himself.

We've conceded 7 in 4 games now. With more coming against Valencia over the weekend in my opinion.

I just don't see the players being able to pick themselves up after that Roma shithousery or maybe they just down tools.

Damn we should've just send the basketball team for the CL, nobody would match their height.

Reducing everything to physicality and especially height is complete bs. A tall or strong guy still does jack for you if you don't have the right tactics and actually fit players. It's not like we were dominating, creating chances, defending well and then we suddenly lost because Roma scored one header after the other from crosses.

The problem these days is not only that we lack physical strength. I mean that always can be a factor, look at Chelsea matches back then for example they were a world class physical team that will obviously give you problems here if you're weaker in every duel. BUT we were always the team with a far superior passing, had the better skills in 1v1s, could control the game. Now we don't even have that advantage anymore, the coach doesn't give us an edge, the passing doesn't, we don't have speed OR strength etc. We not only have Messi not doing defense but a lot of our players lack it and/or are slow as hell. You simply can't press an opponent like that, but we also can't keep the ball or defend properly. Stamina and speed are very important factors too on the physical side and you don't need a muscle packed 2m fighter to have these. Valverde is also part of the problem here, Sergio Pique Suarez etc played way too much especially considering they are all around 30 playing that much for years. No wonder they always look so slow/tired in these type of games.

Better midfield would change a lot for us believe it or not and just buying workhorses for the sake of having workhorses isn't the solution here. Coutinho and Arthur is the right direction on the technical side. More young, technical and fast players are still needed tho.

Roma is actually terrible in counter and decent in defending. If we can suffocate them deep in their box with control, they would find it hard to attack. However, if we decide to switch our mentality and sit deep in our box, Roma will exploit us with their crosses and long balls. Pique and Umtiti will need to be in tip top condition which Pique isnt.

I even called it... :facepalm1:

Man even a month ago, you guys were predicting that we would eventually crumble in CL knock-out stages, and folks were bashing your comments as whore-posts.

They were calling us as spoilt fans and people kept worrying about counter attacks and would abandon everything just to play defensive. In the end, we didnt get destroyed by counter attacks, but by their dominance and possession of the ball. It's not that difficult to see that this style of play doesnt suit us. Looking back at those comments it's really laughable.

Classic example of sarcasm just because I point out the flaws in such a system:
Not me - at least not as long as Scrubverde is at the helm. We need a tactical and structural overhaul from top to bottom of this club. I'm thinking something along the lines of MessiCam as coach, Henias as assistant and Jombi as chief scout.

Full Valverde Pre-Match Press Conference (13/04/18):

Valverde: "It's not the worst time of my career, sure. It's a bad time, I can't deny it, but I'm fine."

Valverde: "Messi is touched like everyone, but waiting for the ball to roll again."

Valverde: "I do not know many things, but you know that when you sign for a team like this, you have deal with the criticism."

Valverde: "The reaction of the public will depend on our response. We need ten points to win this title."

Valverde: "I have nothing to say about Piqué and Messi asking me for explanations because there was nothing like that."

Valverde: "No, the Barça style has not been betrayed in Rome at any time."

Valverde: "I am expecting the same Valencia as always. They are in the middle of a great run with a system that is bringing great success. They are having an excellent season."

The gift that keeps on giving. The Spanish David Moyes folks.

Well we got what we deserved! It was clear from the start that he is not a manager who can win CL. Fucking disgrace that we have to put up with this shit year after year since our board is unable to select a proper manager! The worst of all is the fact that he will stay for another season if he wins La Liga and CDR!
