-not playing naive in CL away and getting thrashed everytime (roma was dembele fault for missing empty net)....
-not going all out attack with one goal lead, leaving gaps and dropping points.....
-using warriors like paulinho/vidal to give balance instead of playing two CAMs in midfield like pep.......
-adapting to each opponent......
-etc etc......

Man just said that Dembele is at guilt for last year's CL exit, Xavi was a CAM and that Valverde is adaptive.

he is living off his status at barca playing with goat level player all over the pitch.

I would simply replace him with someone who can see things like: Busquets and Rakitić can't play together anymore for example. Or that Arthur is an absolute necessity for our midfield. Or that a midfield of Busi-Raki-Vidal has a speed and creativity of a turtle.

Someone who is not just a yes-man. Someone who can implement their system, not just copy Lucho's last season.

and how do you know which coaches will bench old guard players??

all coaches look like genius at small club where they have full authority, no pressure and can try crazy tactics even if it drops points.....

at barca legend players ex: busi,raki,alba,pique,suarez,messi have much more status and power than the coach and must play due to board pressure, marketing reason and high wages.

also new players are shiny toys and overrated too much, while old players get abuse even if we win league every year.

pressure to win at barca is a immense one. any coach except maybe 2-3 in the world will come here play a standard 4-3-3 with all legend players. no matter what they did at previous clubs, barca is at different level and they cannot afford to do revolutions. by that time they will be sacked already. we played 4-3-3 for years, give valverde a credit for going with a pragmatic 4-4-2 when we had no wingers and only lost 1 match.

do you think a sarri or a tuchel would come here and do some big miracle? no, they would play 4-3-3 with mostly same players valverde is using and the matches will still be boring.

valverde is best man for the job at the moment imo.......
