I'd just like to state this again. To determine this season a success IMO, he must:
a) Win La Liga
b) Reach CL semi-finals
Yes, we reached Copa final, but those two are crucial factors, since reaching CL semis, would mean that we are getting better there and winning La Liga is now a standard. Copa is a bonus.

IMO Semis are minimum. I would determine that a succesful season, since we haven't qualified for semis for 3 years now.

He's a shit manager. I would hope it's cl or bust for Valverde but this stupid board are satisfied with any sort of domestic honors. Fucking sad because the quality of football we play is atrocious. I watched a bit of Chelsea Spurs and Chelsea despite their problems look better than us.

Doesnt matter. Our success doesnt hinge on records against a specific team, even more so when Madrid isn't their best this season.
Another double and humiliation in CL would be a massive underachievement, considering how much talent we have in the squad.
EV fans can come in here and drop nuggets every now and then, raving about our record against Sociedad, Madrid etc. about how we are gonna win the treble isn't gonna cut it. Truth is we need to fare much better than last season.
Looking at how we play isnt something to be proud about, it's only matter of time when shit hits the fan.

Missed this game.. Seeing the comments and highlights, same as usual? Poor in offense, poor in transition defense, bad off the ball movement, same tired 11.... .and finally relying on opponents screwing up chance after chance to hand us the win ?
