Why the hell don't people understand that it's not the fucking players that are the main reason for the debacle in the last 2 years is beyond me. Sure, the lack of leadership, pace and buddy buddy kisses on the side is one reason but not nearly the main one. When the team performs almost the same against Getafe, Alaves, Leganes, Levante etc. as against Liverpool you know that the team is coached like shit. Let's say we have worse players than Liverpool(this a joke, we actually have better players in all but 4 positions at worst), we sure as hell don't have worse players than those teams I've mentioned above, no matter how hard you hate these players. How many times have these teams pressed better than us, wasted clear cut chances or had us pinned back with even better possession football than us? Too many times to count on my hands and feet and that's not because Siovas is better than Pique, it's not because Rochina is better than Coutinho or Borja Baston is better than Messi, it's because their coaches have a fucking clue and knows the strengths of his players and coaches them to act as team as opposed to the clueless bastard we have now. I.e. we try to play like Atletico fucking Madrid at times with players suitable to a whole other system.
Another point, it's no fucking use getting rid of players like Rakitic, Busquets or Suarez if the coach will still be the same pragmatic, passive, scared little shit we have now. You'll only have De Jong, Arthur or Griezmann playing the same kind of shitty bus parking tactics that have failed us 2 years in the row. So, instead of them being coached to play as a cohesive unit based on their tactical and technical profile, you'll have the same unorganized bunch of headless chickens running about, depending on Messi bailing us in attack and Ter Stegen saving the numerous shots on goal we'll have to face, as usual.
It all starts and ends with the mediocre managers and coaching the team has received for the past years and I'd extend "the past years" to six years ago when Tito was still our coach. All the managers since then have depended on individual quality more than any tactical input they could muster to impart these players with. It will show when the trophies won with Barcelona will be their only important titles in their whole career. And yeah, this includes Lucho too.
