He just HAS to bench Busi and play FDJ-Arthur-Vidal/Roberto in midfield, this would be a massive improvement and would let Arthur and FDJ flourish.

Then he’ll have to find a solution for the whole Griezmann issue, which to be fair isn’t a problem he is responsible for.Still,he has to find a way to fit him in the starting XI.

If he can do these 2 things, then we can pray that the team will go auto-pilot mode and hope that Messi along with FDJ+Arthur will carry the team and that Suarez+Pique won’t suck.

People here seem to be almost happy with Valverde's changes (which were right by the way) and forget that this win finally came with quite a lot of luck.

1. Suarez does these volleys really well, balls like that suit him because he doesn't have to move, just shot. But doesn't happen too often.
2. This time Messi's ball bounced forward from Suarez and that was his winning luck. Nice, but once again a bit lucky.

Inter had 3-4 clear chances in the first half and two towards the end, they didn't need 567 passes to create something, so you may sum it up as Inter being unlucky, but Barca shouldsn't have complained too much if the game was lost by 2:4

Be happy that the team has won but the entire game showed the very same, deep problems, so a single lucky game shouldn't cover all those problems and Valverde's almost total impotence tactically.

It was garbage show, especially the first half. I don't think anyone is actually happy with this game. We are happy we are still alive in CL.

Winger and wing back chemistry is crucial in possesion football. When we overload one area and switch it quickly to the opposite side, that winger and wingback need to be able to execute something instantly. No fucking about. Only Semedo and Dembele have that right now.

Was watching some passing compilations from Pep's years here and back then, Alves was much higher up the field than our RB is nowadays and all the way by the touchline. When Messi drifted inwards, that was key to maintaining width and spreading out the opposition.

Anyways, another bad game but they don't really come much better these days.

Nothing wrong with individual brilliance but we rely too heavily on moments of magic from Messi (see 2nd goal) to create anything meaningful. So when he's missing we look flat and lost in the attacking third.

Players selection definitely improved. Still, we only won because of individual quality and there are many problems remaining. Inter should have a lead of 2 goals in 1st half.

Don't know how he'll fix Pique-Lenglet but playing them in every match won't yield different results. Also, up-front we have a problem with fitting everyone in that system that doesn't work. Suarez scored yesterday) - well done. But I do think he can't be starting with Griezmann. We need a damn winger (Fati!, Perez, Dembele).

EV has done to me, fuck him.

I cant fucking believe the fucking Salzburg scored 3 goals versus a full squad
Liverpool side yesterday while we couldn't get one goal scored.

For what it's worth, at least the fucker doesn't whine about ref decisions like certified ultra uber tactical genius Conte who now has single-handedly revived UEFAlona.

Also news at 11, Griezmann doesn't belong on the wing. Stop putting him there immediately.
