Nowhere near the best squad in Barca's history

Our RB's are mediocre.
Our CBs fail at the highest level.
We don't have an attacking midfielder in the squad.
We don't have a LW.
Messi ( despite having just had the greatest season of a 30+ aged footballer in history ) and Suarez are regressing.

Not the best squad in Barca's history but surely as good of a squad as any out there. And better than most squads compared to our European rivals.

Our RBs are mediocre and yet Semedo has had a lot of offers and was deemed not for sale by the club. Don't you see a contradiction in that? Mediocre RBs you struggle to sell, not try hard to keep when you have several offers.

Coaching at Liverpool is on a different level to us. It's like in cooking. Gordon Ramsay would create a better dish with a chicken and some potatoes, than some average cooks would create with oysters and truffles.

It would have zero effect on my opinion of Semedo if Madrid came in and offered 200m for him, I go off my own opinion from what I see when I watch the man play. Not that he has had any great offers from big clubs anyway. Only Atleti and they replaced him with Trippier so we can see at what level they rate him. Before that, they bought Vrsalko and Arias so RB is not a position they prioritise.

Semedo is our beat right back but his attacking highlights reel from all the games he has played for us wouldn't be longer we than a few minutes. Personally I'd try him as a RCB in a 3412 because he offers nothing going forward.
