Odd, wouldn't take him for a coward who backs away from a challenge. Right now, Barca is a challenge, sure, but also a huge club with a lot of weapons a top manager can use.

It's only a case of character judgement. I don't take him for a manager who would value a sporting challenge over self-respect. He's no ageing Mourinho in desperation of a job.

Pochettino took Spurs, dawg.

No matter how bad y'all make Barca out to be, it's never going to be Spurs level.

I’m sure Wolfe “hopes” rather than “thinks” Poch won’t join us. After all Poch was his dream manager he was talking about for ages until Zidane joined again.

poch literally said a few weeks ago that he's open to coach anyone. even Arsenal ffs. not saying Poch to Barca will happen but to dismiss it because you dont want it to happen despite very reliable journalists said that we're serious about him is ridiculous.

When (fingers crossed) his sacking is announced, we shouldn't move his thread to Barca history. Create a section named "Dark ages" and through him there.
We can even have a poll to vote the best Valverde apoligists' excuses.
We are gonna need multiple polls..

Pochettino won't take it. If not on the basis of his Espanyol affiliations then at the basis of this situation being an institutional trainwreck. It's a toxic combination. He's too nice a guy to get into bed with these pricks.

Poch a nice guy?

He also said the same for Arsenal as he did for Barca, and yet after his sacking, he gave an interview in terms of stating anything is possible when asked about managing Arsenal.

Sure. Except he didn't play and live on the other side of London. But I guess you're correct. Still, you're proposing he's open to being inconsistent. Which is fair enough. I just hope for his own sake he doesn't consider the job. Squad is old, needs a rebuild he can't start right now and he'll be judged on his immediate failures in 19/20 without being able to do anything for the team. It's a bad formula.

Poch a nice guy?

Damn sure was at Spurs. While not soft, he's not a hardman like Simeone or stern like Jose.

And considering he for sure expected he'd get a new job a lot sooner but still hasn't, and the fact that among all the managerial changes that have happened this season, Barca is now by far the biggest job opportunity to come up, it wouldn't shock me if he'd take it, if offered. Stranger things have happened in football.

Like I said, he doesn't deserve to be in Barca's history. Might as well just move it to Real Madrid's thread and be done with it.

That was when Malcom scored and ruined his plans. I remember his face when the guy who barely played scored a great goal in CL in one of the few chances he got. Then he scored vs Madrid again, at one of the few chances he got, owning players like Marcelo, and the fucker still benched him to death. Until he put him on in the 2nd half vs Valencia in the Cup final and our right flank started to liven up.

So yea, can't wait to see this manager go.

Precisely.

There a massive difference between saying you would never manage another club when you already have a secure job, and when you're sitting on the sofa at home unemployed, especially when that club is at the stature of Barca.
