if the same group of players bottles it in the CL year after year despite several coaching changes,

its the players (messi and the amigos first and foremost) and not the manager

I'd say that the bunch of overpaid wankers who bottled a 3 0 lead were much more responsible than the manager who didn't really make any tactical mistakes in the 2nd leg.


As a Liverpool fan, I never expected the Barca players to be so weak mentally. It was a Tottenham performance.

Love how the players are always so protected and the manager always gets all the blame.

Ernesto's consistency in the league is so under-appreciated by Barca fans.

The guy set up the team brilliantly despite having 2 players who wouldn't move a muscle off the ball lmao. Hallmark of a shrewd tactician. People don't realise how tough that is in modern Football with pressing systems around.

If Xavi had that exact record, the fawning over him would have been endless.
