Thanx to Platini who had to promise smaller football countries expanded new format of Euro when he was running for UEFA president.

What's the point of qualifications if half of nations qualify anyway.
Final tournament will be a diluted and weaker competition that's for sure.

Qualifications are also Euro tournament, 24 teams enter the Final tournament.

Yeah, anyone can and should be happy for their respective country but that doesn't mean the format is good.

Well done Ireland gave it a bloody good go and tbh, after only drawing at home against Scotland in June, I thought they would finish fourth so a great effort to come so close. Hoping for a kind draw for the play offs
