I didnt say anything about one player being better than the other, i just said that goals and assist are probably the most important aspects of a forward. These player x vs player y discussions are boring and done to death, i have little interests for them.

Ok.........

Portugal defending/flukeing themselves all the way into the final is very fitting for this shitty tournament. A la Greece 2004 (even though they had to beat one strong team(FRA) then, unlike Ken's boys this year)

Maybe tomorrow's game will show some actual football? And the French might even have a chance after all the injuries/suspension the Germans have suffered.

Great game from Portugal. Also, no matter how much we want to downplay CR7's Euro's... He has, twice now, pushed his team to the next round. There is no denying that... I don't expect them to win the whole thing but a final is a good result for Portugal.

Portugal have not really faced a great attack so far, have they? They faced a very good midfield against Croatia, but not a good forward line.

Perhaps France with Griezmann, Payet and I can't believe I'm saying this, Giroud would expose their defence? After all, Hungary and Croatia when they took risks did well, although the latter wasted all their chances for Portugal to end it with a sucker punch.

From what i have seen, France have arguably a better attack than Germany, midfield not much worse, and a backline that is not that great. Also, France has beaten Portugal in their last 10 matches, kinda irelevant, but still. Perhaps Germany would be a better opponent for Portugal idk.

You detected the problem realy well. Croatian attacker was not present at the match. As soon as quich dribbler enterd Portugese defence was on the ropes. To bad it came to late. That's coach to blame.

France has strong forward attack with Payet, Pogba, Griezman... that will test their defensive style a lot. If the French pass ther Germans. If Hummels were to play I'd say they would not pass but now it is all open.

Germany is (maybe I'm to much proGerman) much stronger overall than the Portugese. Especialy with Ronaldo that did 0 in the first half, woke up for3 minutes against shocked Wales and then fall a sleep again later.

Very torn about who I would want in the final.

I feel like France is a better team than Germany currently (Germany has so many injuries) but are more likely to bottle it against Portugal.

On the other hand, Germany is not as good as France but I feel they are less likely to bottle the final.

Either way, on July 10th, 2016, I will be cheering like crazy for either Germany or France.
