Actually, it's up to you how much you care for the country but Blaugrana is generally right, you don't have the same conditions as a immigrant/2nd gen and you can't ignore that.

Pogba may care more than Matuidi or vice-versa, but its less probable they care as much as Giroud or Gignac and even someone who is from recent German immigrants, after all, 51% of the population of France has foreign origins counting white people too as the origin of their country way back to the birth of nations is civic, but its one thing when you're half Catalan like Lloris or you grew up in Paris or Marseille ghetto, see what Karembeu had to say about what he thinks about France or compare Buffon's suffering to that of Pogba or see how they sing their anthem.

Can you please elaborate con how this Euro final have anything to do with Barca? I dont see any blaugrana ppl involved.

If everything was going against us, we'd have choked and lost the league and the cup as well. But that didn't happen. Sometimes some of our fans are a bit greedy.

I've been following football since 1997 and I've never seen a team soo lucky as Portugal was this EURO.. They played 7 matches, drew 6 of them after 90min and won only 1 match after 90min.. Even Italy deserves to win the WC 2006 more.. Congrats though.

The so called native French players aren't good enough. The ones that are are the likes of Giroud

Ironically bringing a North African benzema instead of him might have worked better for them.

Also Germany win tournaments and they are full of foreigners

I don't know which french players looked like they did not care. Dual identities becomes a problem for some north african players, but even then it doesn't really show on the pitch.

This is just unfuckin'believable. Even Deschamps' baraka didn't work. I gotta say, some portuguese players behaved like total assholes throughout the game.

blaugrana1987 don't double down now, it's a bit lame. You're not a racist, but the sentence you wrote was. Time to let go.

Torn, sentence I wrote was written because today it was France that played, not Italy or Venezuela. It had nothing to do with players colour, please don't imply I even entertained to make it racist. I think I made my point clear, it really wasn't racist.

And as I said, watching Mattuidi crying puts my theory in a strange place. I still hold feeling you have to give absolute 10000% for your country and today, I'm sorry to say, France didnt look like that.

Actually, I heard Griezmann didn't even want to take the penalty with Germany and he needed to be convinced what it is to be a leader.
Guess he's recent rapid growth from a player from Real Sociedad to one deciding CL ties and running for Best Player overwhelmed him a bit.

Benzema along with Valbuena should be playing for the local penitentiary team and chased around by Le Pen fans around the prison .

I have no idea what point you've been trying to make but nationality ties mean little compared simply for the will to win. National pride, you're reputation and the overall adrenaline rush from the game goes away 30 mins into the game and you gotta find a way to beat the players in front of you.

Pogba is a perfect example, despite all his class and ability, he didn't have enough guile and creativity to find a way to will his team forward. It was Matuidi and Sissoko who only looked capable of really making something happen for France. I've never understood why Martial wasn't at least tried as a 9 for France, his pace and creativity on the ball would have been something to releave the creative pressure on "Grizou" :eyeroll: but you got golden boy Giroud up there who can't beat Howedes in a footrace...

And Germany have plenty of players with dual nationalities and they got dumped out by a fairly questionable PK. They easily would have handled Portugal which is why I wanted them to go through...

I don't care at all about this issue so i'll keep it short. Your phrased your sentence very wrongly, period. You can argue your intentions but not your words. Fuck it, intentions matter more anyway. lol at griezmann not being french though. Geez.
