Italy Defeated Ghana , Cech Republic , Germany and France .

And Australia with one of the most idiotic penalties ever?
Czech Republic was the flop of the tournament losing to Ghana, even if Nedved was 3 years after his prime and aging, they should've at least made it to the R16, guess it was a very slow team, exactly what Italy feels comfortable against and an african team like.
Ukraine was similar to Poland for Portugal, lucky to get past Switzerland on penalties and really not worth much, already destroyed by Spain in the GS, easy group helped them get passed.
Lucky to net that one against Germany, though that was similar to the final of today, Germany should've won in 90 mins, Italy was marginally better in ET but still lucky to score with a full back in the dying moments.

One of the best Germans teams with Friedrich, Borowski, Kehl, Bernd Schneider, Metzelder etc!?!?!?!?! Not even in the top 50 German teams of all time  :juggle::whatever:

If it wasn't a home tournament, might've seen them out in the Group Stage just like in Portugal.

Lahm , Podolski , Ballack , Bastian , Lehmann, Klose ... Mention them too ;)

Lahm was 22 so that's like 2nd grade for a defender, Bastian didn't even play much and Lehmann was not as good as Kahn was in other tournaments, was just better than Oli in 2006 spring so he was worth that starting spot but neither better than Neuer in 2010 or 2014, but that wasn't even in the top 1 million german teams in history, not to mention Germany 2010 would've destroyed the 2006 tournament but in 2010 they met La Furia Roja.

I'm still sick from seeing penaldo lifting that trophy.

Everything went for Portugal. God is a Ronaldo fan

Stupid ref gives handball against Koscielny and then even books him for it. A couple minutes later Koscielny is challenging with Eder but as he's on a yellow card he knows he can't challenge him too hard so allows Eder to shoot and score. Stupid ref can't tell the difference between a white hand and a black hand. Cost France the game.

Could've challenged him, only 10 minutes to go and France 1 more change, nobody thought he would shoot and score from there, bad luck.

Penaldo will be without the "Portugal is crap without him argument" after they won their hardest match without him.

Frenchies are gonna have nightmares over that Gignac chance that could have gone in. Had Griezmann been half a meter on the right France would be Euro champs.

All I'm seeing online is 'Ronaldo inspired his team on the Touchline'. Fuckin bullshit. Lucky footballer.

i tell you the moment Portugal won the euros, was when that Iceland muppet scored in the last kick of the game against Austria. That meant that instead of Portugal having to face England, then France, then Germany....they get to face Croatia, Poland, Wales. Lucky fools. It was meant to be for them, lucked their way to victory.

If only Wales had Ramsey, they would've banged Portugal

Who won the best player of the tournament?

I have a feeling Cristina would have lucked her way into that too, but I just had to confirm

Not going to lie, as a Brazilian it felt good to see France lose at home since we didn't win either. Just wish it wasn't to Portugal.

The fact that CR didn't play is barely being featured. All I see is headlines about Cristiano lifting the trophy. And in 3,4,5 yrs from now it will be completely forgotten that he didn't even play this game. All that will be remembered is that he won the Euros. Its not fair but its life.
