German hooligans attacked Ukrainian fans today.
I don't see which hooligans could rival Russians. They attack in small groups but are well organized and look experienced in fights. 10-15 years ago I would pick us but we've become softer recently and fact that our FA is at war with all major firms doesn't help either.

Oh grow up. It's nothing to be proud of.

Russian hooligans are organised trained young men vs some drunk overweight English middle aged men.

FIFA really fucked up with the upcoming two world cups.
You can already envision the chaos that will happen then.

Also, its not over, a lot more shit will happen this euro's. Dont rule out ISIS stepping in as well along with many more fights.
The French security is also really lacking in this regard.

Thing os if it kicks off in russia you probably wont hear about it with the media censorship and the russians wont stand for much crap they will most likely be a touch heavy handed with whoever they think the trouble makers are

You know it's bad when a first world country like France can't even provide security against a rag tag bunch of fairground boxers.

Its the French though, they are notoriously lacking in the security department. To be fair though you cant really prevent it entirely but you can do much better than whats being happening this week.

Visiting a Euro's/wc is still on my bucketlist but I always either lacked the money or the event was too far away. Now im not even thinking about going to France with the potential terrrist attacks and hooliganism going on. Next up we got Russia and Qatar for the wc.
Maybe euro's in 2020

On hooliganism, I always considered it a poor excuse for people to channel their frustrations in life. Look at an interview with this idiot for example: http://www.101greatgoals.com/news/afps-horrible-interview-with-a-russian-hooligan-called-vladimir-england-football-fans-are-girls/They should have been born in medievel times rather than tearing up a nice city like Marseille.

I just cannot imagine for someone being there with his wife and kids and get stuck in the middle of that shit. Seeing people tossing bricks and rocks, ffs. We are no better then monkeys.
Any kind of provocation should be punished hard and immediately stop propagation of violence. Ban provocateurs for lifetime for any major sport events.
I don't care about the sides, I want to enjoy the competition, the sport. I want my NT to beat germans, england...who ever...and later drink beer with them.
