Slovakia is a terrible 3rd place, Sweden/Poland would have been better.

If Portugal finish 3rd, they could face Belgium in the R16, Italy in the quarters, and France/Germany in the semis

6 winners go through
6 second placed teams
4 third placed teams

4 out of 6 winners get the easiest opponent = 4 third placed teams.
2 winners play against second placed teams.
Remaining 4 second placed teams play with eachother.
