In a game like they just played vs Slovakia, Busi is the superior choice. Not sure, if the opponent presses you and actually puts pressure. Rodri might fair better in higher intensity games because he is still much more physically gifted than Busi.

This is a kind of a pointless conversation, but absolving a cult hero of any fault like that is not smart. Pass-to-Zlatan, pass-to-Messi, pass-to-Lewa, pass-to-"insert any fantastic player playing with a lot of scrubs"... it's football's version of hero-ball where both manager and the player in question take a lot of blame.

And Lewa has actually been quite passive vs Slovakia + uncharacteristically managed to miss the play he shouldn't have. 'As per usual' in big tournament moments actually.

No, i do actually think he is mostly without blame here, but that is not to say i always absolve star players of blame.

Yes, he missed chances, so if you want to blame him for not being clinical enough, okay, however, everyone misses chances and i dont think he scored fewer goals this tournament than what was expected given the chances.

Look at ut this way, Morata can be a meme for 3 games straight and advance, Lewandowski can do a proper striker job and go out.

Thats very much about the teams.

Ukraine are lucky bastards if they play against Sweden as 3rd placed team while Austria plays against Italy.

I kinda like it that we play against Italy as they are an attractive opponent, but that doesn't change the fact that this new modus is shit.

Not to mention that getting an attractive opponent doesn't really do anything for us fans as we have no chance to go to the game due to 5 day-quarantine for Austrians in Britain.

Call me crazy guys but i have the feeling we will draw against france, before the matches i said we will win against hungary, draw against france and lose against germany, not because i think germany is stronger than france but we always lose to germany :lol: :thinking:
