Oddly enough, France are going to play in Bucarest next.

I've read that story before. Even more funny was they've seen Ukraine fans (who were in Bucharest for their games against North Macedonia and Austria) with flags etc. and thought they are Hungarian fans so they followed them believing they'd lead them to the stadium but they ended up in the old town of Bucharest. And that's when they've realized they're in the wrong city/country.
