People criticize Euro Cup level of football but then say EU football is miles ahead of South-American national football lol.

Not sure if football here has dropped. Maybe just more leveled and we will see less dominance from one team over other. In Spain, Netherlands and Germany's case they are obviously not as good as before but that is part of football.

England NT levels have not dropped, and it has been refreshing to see the number of young players competing for position.
There are teams in a lean period. Poorest Germany team in decades. But they will come back stronger.
