Insigne and Chiesa are a class above any Spain forward.
I am not sure they would even use that guy.
Del Bosque invented 460 without strikers and with 6 Iniestas/David Silvas to get 70-80% possession.
Father Pep also sold Etoo, Zlatan and Mandzukic.
To buy Jesus and play KDB/Foden/Sterling as false 9s and similar.
A huge part of domination of that style comes from a fluidity of 6 midfielders+attackers.
If you insert a No9 who is a killer, but less mobile or technical, you are losing possession.
For example, imagine Lukaku at Spain.
He would bring some goals but kill the flow, they would play with 10 men.
On the other hand Lucho picked goalscoring wise sterile Pedri, or so-so Olmo, yet he had Llorente as a fullback.
Even someone like Asensio might provide a goal or two.
But no, it is usually: all in on possession and on 6 David Silvas and inshallah and hope that one out of 10 chances from technical but sterile midfielders/attackers will somehow go in.
So, it is not such a simple statement as: Spain just needs clinical attackers.
You agree with that take wolfe?
Ferran Torres looks decent, but he's doesn't seem to be a forward, more of a winger.
Where do Insigne and Chiesa play? Italy is well shite apart from the GK and the washed up CBs
Prettty much that :
FTFY
Insigne is a wing playmaker and Chiesa a winger. I meant players of the attacking third as forwards, not CFs. Immobile and Bellotti are their CFs and I am not sure they are much better than Morata and Moreno.
Guessed so. So we can invalidate your post saying you agree with him.
Sure, but they still played a really good tournament and were the better team in all their games, they are not far off at all.
TBH Lucho finally paid a price for not taking a better RB option and wasting the arguably most in-form midfielder of the past season on a wing. People like dunking on Garcia and Sarabia, but that there was the 2nd biggest issue which contributed to lack of goals which Llorente has provided this year

I was implying that they are playing in Serie A for some mediocre teams.
I am not sure they would even use that guy.
