In the end it's gonna be Juve and RM pummeling Tottenham and Arsenal 20 times a year who will hope that they can somehow win one year.

Its not over yet.

From what I'm reading it's going to go nuclear soon.

Real Madrid have ZERO intention to let other clubs walk away

"There is no unilateral termination clause in the contracts, it is completely binding. Real Madrid will do everything possible to secure absolute financial compensation for any clubs thinking about leaving "

Oh shit guys it's getting serious.

While this circus is funny, its embarassing to be a RM-fan right now

❗If the ESL fails, Real Madrid will never be able to take part in any European competition as long as Florentino Perez is the president of the club.

Just set up a league with Italian, Spanish and any other big names like Ajax, Porto etc and have it with promotion relegation.

Either in that system or in CL.

Scottish, Dutch, Portuguese etc surely all happy to join that one.

Perez can spit whatever he wants in the interviews...

If clubs are walking away, he is doomed. He expected some backlash, but not this... Especially from fans, coaches and players. And to top it off... Goverments.

Fortunately, I think, Barca are the least to take shit from this, because it was signed during Barto's presidency and Laporta can come out clean from this in a way. Also his "good, but not perfect" statement on ESL is helping, the only handicap being the Perez mention on him last night.

10 years ago Spurs wasn't the same brand they are today. Arsenal had its resurgence because of Wenger and the Invincibles. Chelsea because of tis Mourinho era. Leicester came back from relegation less than 10 years ago.

La Liga has to restructure, brand, and sell itself properly like the PL did to get that sweet $$$. That takes time. Can't catch up within a few years. Gotta take the L now and plan ahead.
