I'm not sure I agree with every point raised but I do think the re-structuring of the youth setup was a massive mistake. They basically turned everything upside down and hired people seemingly more based on personal allegiances than on footballing nous and on educational skill.

Sorry my friend but I think this article is as bad as it gets ,may be for exception of the last 2 paragraphs about the re-structure of La Masia and the flood of foreign players
for starter you can see that historically speaking our best La Masia product came when Barca B was in 3rd division .to me it looks clearly that this is the best division to develop player .it takes the pressure put in Segunda away and make it easier to focus on developing players .we went from producing Puyol,Xavi,Iniesta&Messi to Montoya,Bartra & Rafinha .because no coach in Segunda won't focus in results
The writer himself keep mentioning how we relegation would be disaster _it isn't_ the blaming coach for focusing on results?
Also Eusebio for some times understood the backbone concept ,and one of the main problems of Barca B now is the lack of those players

I never thought it was true ,always though it is more of tactical decision whether it is right or wrong
Any how ,we have many players missing .Vinyals is forced to play him
