From what I can tell the defending isn't even that bad. The problem is the likelihood of the kids scoring is so freaking low that if they do concede they've pretty much lost the game.

Yup ,we are 6th in the league in best defense with only 12 goals conceded in 13 games (along 2 other teams)
But we scored 8 in those 13 games ,only 2 teams scored less
