Seems like about 10% of LL revenue and about 10% of TV revenue. Here is the original text:

Thanks, I do see the “y” part now. I thought the joint company is set up specifically for the purpose of pooling the La Liga TV revenue, if they take both, wouldn’t that be like double dipping, since the majority of La Liga’s own commercial revenue comes from the TV deal? If that’s true, it would be like 20%, not 10% anymore, I doubt it.
Or does commercial revenue equal to all the sponsorship and merchandise revenue each individual club receives and add them all up? I would think not.

I think we will hear more details about this deal soon.

no idea. I do not speak Spanish so it is hard for me to know exactly what they are getting back. Will post the details of the deal when and if I get a translated version.

Atletico are such bums lol.

They didn't need this but are probably thinking short terms to win as much as possible while Barca and Real have to rebuild.

They are privately owned, which makes their ownership interest in 30-50 years from now very minimal. If they can grow their brand and cash on the club at the right time, it is awesome deal for them.

Official: Barcelona have positioned themselves against the agreement with CVC, which, at the last minute, has incorporated a clause that stipulates that clubs that have voted against will keep their television rights intact. [fcb]

FC433 I also saw MD mentioning that CVC will charge 10% of the La Liga's commercial revenue, in addition to the 11% of TV rights of the clubs for the next 50 years. I am guessing La Liga must have its own commercial income in addition to what the clubs receive, like from its own sponsors, from holding eLaLiga etc., kind of like how FIFA and UEFA make money and have their own revenue etc.

So yeah, makes sense to me now. 11% of La Liga's future audiovisual rights for the next 50 years + 11% of La Liga's own commercial revenue for the next 50 years + 2.1b that will be paid back eventually by the 38 or so participating clubs. Great deal for CVC.

that makes sense. In our official statement, there was no mention of LL's revenue, it seems just like you said it is about LL own revenue, which is irrelevant to us.

FC Barcelona has participated today in the Assembly of the Spanish Professional Football League (LFP) at which its agreement with CVC Central Partners, the investment fund that is to become an industry partner of La Liga, was presented and submitted to a vote.

FC Barcelona, represented by its Director of Football, Mateu Alemany, has positioned itself against the agreement which, and at the last minute, has included a clause that stipulates that the television rights of the clubs that have voted against the motion shall remain intact and that these shall be under no obligation to receive the financial injection that shall affect the next fifty years of life of the body.

Note that Bar?a, as well as Real Madrid and Athletic Club, the three first division clubs that have not signed the agreement, defend their membership and assembly-based ownership systems, with boards of directors chosen by their members for limited mandates, reasons that support the inconvenience of accepting mortgages on their assets (such as in this case the transfer of their television rights) for the next half century, moreover considering the ongoing transformation and evolution of the football world

CVC deal must be rejected.
Barca feels like a fictional novel at present, one if read a few years ago, would have been rejected as too unbelievable.
50 year tie in for TV deal.
Messi leaves on a free and goes to PSG.
Messi joins Ramos , who offers him accommodation in his house.
Barca financially adrift, to put it mildly.
Messi owed 33m bonus by Barca.
Lean times ahead.

Barca should make their version of reality TV show. It would be a huge hit. Every day new drama. You don't even need writers for this.
