FC Barcelona Finances

Well, things are not that rosy all of sudden, of course. Without the levers we would have had a loss of 150m for this season, as reported by 2Playbook and other outlets such as Culemania. Really unfathomable as to how the hell it is even possible and how we got here. Player wages are high, we know. Did the revenue decline by that much?

I hope Laporta and Co. are planning ahead and making sure we will return to positive numbers for this upcoming season, because we don't have more levers to sell and we simply can't rely on selling club assets and rights to balance our books each season.

Of course revenue declined by that much

COVID was real killer then Messi leaving didn't help

COVID is not an excuse anymore when other clubs like Madrid and Bayern etc. have consistently returned profits.

Barto's effect will go away only when the last contract he signed on behalf of Barcelona is over. Some are still gonna run for 2 more seasons or even more. We are still paying bums who have no effect or role whatsoever other than being the richest tourists in the city.

The damage an incompetent president can do is huge because there is no one above him and the money he plays with are not his.

Does anyone have our wage list with the new signings, and how much will our yearly wage bill be now.

Interesting

🚨🚨| BREAKING: FC Barcelona can reduce the salary of the squad unilaterally - as per ?Article 41 of the Workers' Statute?. The players would be notified 15 days before & can join another club if they want.

Probably the lack of tourism is just as fatal as the ridiculous wage structure that was previously in place.

Yeah, that, coupled with the poor showing on the pitch (less money from UEFA) and in the commercial area (no new sponsor signed other than Spotify).

I really worry about what's going to take to balance our books next season.

Holy crap. Not bad at all! :alemany:

This could be a serious money maker.

The whole auction lasted for only like a minute. Honestly, I was hoping it would be sold for higher but I will take it, it is our first. Especially considering we sold ONE piece for $550K USD whereas Liverpool previously sold a lot of FORTY (40) pieces for $545K USD. It goes to show that we are still one the best in terms of influence and brand power.

Wow that's incredible! What did you expect it to go?
