Just wondering if anyone say guillem balague criticize pep this year for his planning on summer transfer. He said pep got it all wrong and when we got rid of yaya we got another midget and were a team full of midgets and all you have to do is boot the ball over there heads and it may affect barcelona in the long run.

He oversimplified it but he did make a point. Basically, Pique and Keita are the only ones that are good in air. Makes you appreciate the Malian even more.

it's very simple people...we need at least one more good header of the ball...that's it...

Time and time again I hear the same people bitching and whining and everything we do to remedy it just leads to more bitching and whining.

The advantage the Spanish NT has over us? Because the starters in the World Cup wasn't David Villa?

Fernando Llorente won't stop us from leaking stupid goals, sorry.

the spanish team can have the advantage of llorente if it means we get the advantage of messi.

if we cloned the players and did spain vs. barca, barca would win 9 times out of 10.

I love llorente, more than any of you for sure. I was calling for a powerhouse #9 coming up on three years ago now. but he will not come here. messi plays false9 more often than not, which means villa on the left and pedro/boje/iniesta on the right. we're not gonna make messi take a step back to incorporate llorente into our starting XI, and he's far too good to be an emergency plan B.

this isn't football manager, people.

a-fucking-men.

I feel the biggest problem with fans, not just football fans but of every sport I follow, is they don't realize that when you add a player to the field, you take one away. Having depth in what players offers is nice but for the amount Llorente would cost, the benefit we would get from throwing him on as a sub when we aren't scoring otherwise isn't going to instantly make us invincible.

I am neither bitching nor whining... I just pointed out to the advantage he offers to Spain NT! Just mentioning how much a #9 could add to this Barca we have!! What pisses you so much when I say that!?
And a big NO for more bitching and whining part... I understand players dip in form and I support them in thick and thin. I just get pissed with the management when a player experiences problems and hence the club too because there is no fucking adequate replacement!!

Coming to the player we need to acknowledge how much he improved since the last Confed. Cup... really coming good for his country

sometimes the best plan b is to stop keeping it in midfield when you can be more direct and crate more chances in the final third.

I see where you guys are coming from, but we really need height up front. We thought we had that with Ibra but he ended up not working out. This isn't about freaking out because we've lost a couple matches, it's pretty much fact. Maybe not Llorente, since you're right he deserves to be a starter, not a plan B, but we need someone competent enough to be a solid substitute and also to step up to the plate when there are injuries such as now. Throwing in cantera when we have injuries is all fine and dandy, I have faith in quite a few of them, but it can't be a permanent solution, especially in big games.

this is why larsson was so important to us, he came ona bosman was quit old but gave us that plan b. This is also the reason why i was upset when liverpool sold peter crouch, when ever teams parked the bus against us wed just hit long and crouch would bring it down and wed score. Shame for england this is there plan a,b and c lol.
