Torres for Costa? No. Torres and Eto'o for Costa? No. Eto's contract with Chelsea expires this summer anyway so he can do whatever he wants to.

I didn't say "for" it could be Diego plus money and Eto'o on free transfer, it just speculation, but rumors about Diego going to Chelsea are all over and Torres always were saying that he wants to comeback to Atletico, so it's possible.

Athletico will have the dream spanish duo... of 2008.

I think it'll depend on if Athletico win the league, if they do then I don't see a reason for them to sell Costa, they're not massively in debt and they might reach the CL semis.

Did he even talk to Atletico? Why would they want him back, he totally sucks!

It's almost like he's forgotten how to play football... What does he do in training?

I think his legs have gone. If you watch old compilations he was all about pace and power and burst, but now he can't do that. I remember during his Liverpool career he said he didn't think his body would be able to cope with the Premier League for the rest of his career, and I guess he was right.

So weird he has been pretty pants since moving to Chelsea yet he has won the FA cup, Champions League, Europa League and with Spain the European Championship for the second time. Crazy game football is

Interesting... Because yeah I watch some highlights of a young Torres and it's like night and day... I don't get the impression he's a lazy played, necessarily. And he's 30 which though not young, is not ancient either.

If Costa leaves, I wouldn't be shocked to see him go back to Atletico, though. La Liga is slower paced and more finesse/technique based. At this point in his career, he' benefit from that.
