Aren't people embarrassed by their own idiocy? I mean, the votes do come out, they're not anonymous so dumb and awfully biased selections become known to everyone.

How can anyone justify putting James instead of Suarez or Neymar, or even Lewandovski?

Zlatan is one of the very few who got it right, also proper top 3 by Robben rather than Bayern political correct.
Other few thoughts, Ronaldo got his majority of the #1 votes by muslims which proves my theory about the propaganda we see a lot on social media where Ronaldo is seen as pro Palestina and Messi as a zionist.
Another thing is media seem more solid than players/coaches for whom its more a popularity contest.
Only problem is media tend to be pretentious like with the ballon d'or where they start campaigns (think cannovaro 06) or take a weird vote to seem clever (sammer 97, Owen 01, Zidane 98).
Also insane how little votes Suarez and Neymar recieved, I thought they would be number 2/3 in many lists, cant believe Penado got so amny votes, Lewa ended up top 4 due to a penaldo like streak after the summer and Hazard being there on epl hype.
Overall a stupid pointless popularity contest but im glad Messi won it.
