well, if i understood it right, this is not completly correct.

The deal of 5 millin would involve a loan of Jeffren, Abraham and Pedrito, but without a first option buy...

Could be the perfect replacement for Sylvinho in every way! TBH i would initially have preferred Zhirkov since he is more versatile and offers more cover up and down the left. However, since that's most likely impossible now, Filipe would be a good choice. Capdevila is far too old and would demand an immediate starting spot too, we wouldn't have any dynamism with an old Abidal and an old Capdevila on the left. ATM it looks like Filipe Luis is the way to go! Slowly then Abidal can be phased out, to be replaced by Muniesa et al

Though it's a substitute left back at BARCA, and of course we need him. He will more likely be a rotation left back than a substitute. On matches when Alves is rested, and we want a more youthful left, or when Abidal has to be rested... And we have many, many matches to play.

He is very close to signing for us, he wants to play for barca Real Madrid where also interested but we seem to be the only ones in the running at the moment.
It will be good to snatch a player of Felipe's quality away from los merengues.

From what I´ve heard (haven´t seen much of Depor I admit) Filipe is one of the best (if not the best) LBs in La Liga. Not that there are some world class left backs playing there.
