Think it can go either way. I can see a 1:0 win for one or the other team, and a generally tight and tactical game.

I can see that almost everyone are confident that Germany will win. But how mad will you be if Argentina will win? I can see Argentina surprising everyone.

Good thing is that I won't be so mad, if Argentina wins. I support Germany and I'll be happy, if we win but Messi lifting the trophy would heal my wounds faster than everything else.

I think it will be 2:0 for us

In 2009 Barcelona won the treble. In 2010 they won the league and reached the CL semi final. Spain then won the world cup.

In 2013 Bayern Munich won the treble. In 2014 they won the league and reached the CL semi final....................................

Are you beginning to 've second thoughts about your original prediction? :icon_neutral:

Messi becoming world champion isn't a bad thing and I would be happy for him (and all the Ronaldo fanboys).
Still I want my country more to win it. I mean with the players we have now, today really is THE big chance also for the near future. We do have a relatively young team, but next wc some of our important players will probably not be there anymore (like a proper striker or a decent rb).

German and Germany fans aside, I don't see why anyone else would be mad if Germany loses.

Germany has got a bright future, they still have quite a few WCs to win with their current squad. Messi and Argentina on the other hand, don't have many chances left at all. Now or never.

You're very right. Germany will win the Euro in 2 years and have a great team in Russia 4 years from now.

That's what they said in 2002 after losing the final, no prob, they will win in 2006 when at home, it's gonna be different and they going to be the winning germans again.

I wouldn't be mad after they lose tonight and actually don't win anything in 2016 and 2018 and miserably fail to do so, something like losing to Italy at the Euro QF and to Brazil 1-0 in 2018.

Germany can have the favorites card all for themselves. Pressure on them. I believe 100% in the players. Germany has nothing on them to be feared of. The boys need to be concentrated, specially at the start of the match. Keep it tight in the back and beware of the dead ball situations. If they play like they did against Netherlands Messi and Higuain can hurt Germany. I only hope both and specially Messi are sharper this time. We really need them at their best tonight.

Damn so fuking nervous :nervous2::nervous2: realistically speaking ARG don't stand a chance against the German machine.

I have that feeling Messi is going to be at his high tonight, why should he have run like crazy in other games only to run into walls that might break him apart? He did though when having minimal spaces, or when he was on the sideline and crossing, but when you cross to Maxi Rodriguez it seems for nothing... doesn't it?

Other way round for me. I'll find it harder to stomach if the Argies don't take this chance now than if Germany lose (so used to them bottling it), mostly due to Messi. But then if Germany win there'll be something to console myself with (even though I don't really support the NT).

Realistically speaking, any face-off has 2 contestants. One being the fav, the other being the underdog. To say the latter has no chance doesn't make sense, real terms. For that, Germany will 've to play without an opponent. :p
