I like this ref. He's been fair so far. Brazilians have lit up the statue of Christ in German colours and they will boo Argentina whenever we touch the ball. Very stressful game and we are the underdogs no doubt. Hope it ends with tears of Joy.

Realistically speaking, any face-off has 2 contestants. One being the fav, the other being the underdog. To say the latter has no chance doesn't make sense, real terms. For that, Germany will 've to play without an opponent.

I'm hoping for a good match. I doubt it'll have too many goals.

I somehow hope it won't have many goals, because I don't see Argentina now scoring 3+ so that I hope for a spectacular game too.
At best I can imagine a 2-0, something similar to the 2009 Rome final though in some scenario's I rather see the Durban game as a happy outcome for Argentina.

Give credit to Adidas when credit is due.
Yup, Albiceleste have the best kit IMO. Even I was always surprised as Adidas usually suck when it comes to the kit. Even more so in tennis than football.
Btw, isn't this the same ref who was not willing to book players in the Belgian match ? Germans are very physical and that a$$hole Muller and co might take advantage of it.

Single L, sir. Zanella is an Arg moto brand. They used to be one of the sponsors of ARG NT few years ago. Whenever their name flashed on the pitch-side advertising boards, the posters back then used to tease me. Good ol' memories.
And I will be nervous, don't worry.
Argentina with their performances on this World Cup certainly do not deserve to lift the trophy. They are basically playing anti-football that all Barca fans despise. Only difference is, there is Messi to cheer for.
