fact: Back in 1982 in Spain, UK was represented by England, Northern Ireland and Scotland. If Wales had qualified it would have been a full house.

No the bid was only England,if they include Wales then it weakens the bid as it involves another automatic spot for the World Cup, and I think England is capable of holding it alone.

I think Wales were looking at a Celtic bid with Ireland and Scotland, sadly it never materialised.

Rather sad and predictable but the sponsors will decide what happens as all FIFA cares about is money as do most of the delegates that are it's members be they from South, Central American and Africa.
No mention of the casual racism towards workers from the subContinent particularly women, lack of freedom of expression and homophobia. Which all ties in nicely with FIFA's aims of promoting a game for all that is also environmentally and socially responsible.

We all know it was a fix, handing it to Qatar.... now the truth is coming out Blatter plays the race/discrimination card.
You couldn't make it up.
What has Blatter done about racism against players ?.... fines and partial closing of stadiums, bloke's a tosser.
I honestly hope he doesn't get to sweep this under the carpet and we finally get transparency and offending delegates are found guilty in a court of law, Blatter included.
Seriously pisses me off.

Indeed, but although Garcia has launched his investigation, he still works for FIFA and submits his report within the next few weeks.
It will be interesting to see how much of these new allegations he takes on board.
Blatter and the whole lot of them are corrupt, we all know this already.

Rumours that FIFA has told USA that they could get the WC is they take it away from Qatar.
IMHO, there should be a new voting round WITHOUT Qatar or they should give it to Australia who came second in the voting process IIRC. If there is truth to what this man at ESPN is saying https://twitter.com/ESPN_JorgeRamos then it will still look bad if they just give it to USA like that.
