Tito is not fit or good enough to lead this team. He brings on David Villa after 80 minutes when we are 4-0 down. Not even a street football team coach makes bad decisions like these. And look at Heynkes. He was jumping around motivating the team when they were 4-0 up! And Tito was nowhere to be seen.

Its clear that against strong teams false 9 no longer works. Our attack is toothless when Messi drops too deep. It was already shown in the Milan game. But Tito did not learn his lesson.

Hopefully we get a better coach. I wouldnt mind Heynkes coming to Barca.

Tito is a fine coach, would've loved to have seen what he could've accomplished had he not gotten sick again...The team never quite regained their footing after that and it seemed like they were building some nice momentum...Of course, as Cruyff correctly pointed out, the true litmus test would be how he dealt with adversity...Tito is no Pep but of course, no one is

There was a point during Pep's first season where I was concerned with form ahead of a key stretch in the season...I then remarked that form wasn't a light switch you could flip on just because the talent was there...and then, somehow this team would come out in a big match and perform superbly, regardless of their form...For me, that was the Pep difference...He'd have them in the proper mindset...Not unlike how Jupp has had Bayern prepared...Is Tito able to get this team focused like that when they need to?...Because complacency among winners is not a unique phenomena, it takes a particular kind of coach/leader to get everything from your team

There are a lot of questions to answer for the team

I will ignore all things said tonight about the game, the management or end of an era. Saying Tito should be replaced because he brought back the Liga title in great fashion and got us to CdR and CL semis is utter bullshit. Yeah there are things to improve (for instance his subbing policy), but come on people!

He also managed to turn this team into completely toothless and scared bunch that can't defend to save their lives and was dominated in most of the big games.

Barcelona played great football last season despite missing on La Liga and CL so you have to wonder about the long term future with this guy. And not because of his health but because he can't coach well enough. At least for this level.

Nonsense season is open.

You are justifying Tito's (lack of) tactics? We are making the same mistakes all season and there hasnt been any improvement. And please dont band around the Liga title. We won liga due to the abysmal performance of Madrid in the first half. Last year under Pep we were playing miles better.

Yeah, rm "gave" us the title... Barça should issue a statement thanking them.

Winning la liga in no great feet if we can't beat Madrid, the only real test for us is the clasico and bug European games we would win la liga with any competent manager but its the big games where he need to step up. Pep understood this and as a result never went in a important game using his every day la liga tactics as he understood that won't be enough against the best.

Tito on the other hand. Oh we beat mallorca with it, surely its good enough for juve

This season has been atypical. Tito failed to at least try to make a change today. But even with all the problems la liga is won, and Barça reached cl semis. I never thought Tito would reach Pep's heights. I doubt any other manager will. But some of the current problems were inherited from Pep. The cb being the worst, and no decent forward apart from Messi and Villa, the other. Tito made a crucial mistake not signing a cb, but oddly enough the defense wasn't the main problem against bayern.

I feel sorry for tito, He didn't deserve this, Yet i don't feel sorry for the rest of the team, They were pathetic, Specially our beloved midfield.

This lousy defence played at a completely different level under Pep. Attacking worked better, too. Tito didn't inherit any problems, he created them. His rotation has been absolutely abysmal.

We reached the SF through luck, and individual brilliance, his system has failed to create the necessary chances against the best teams when need,

Fact is barca don't need a OK manager we need a great one a manager with personality.

Madrid has Jose,
Bayern-pep
juve - conte
durtmund-kloop
Man u- sir Alex

Managers who aren't afraid to make bold decisions.

Think we should try and get the current Bayer boss, de boer or luis

Pep should've brought on a cb when he got cesc and alexis. So yes, the defensive problem was inherited and worsened.

Not buying CB's
Not rotating and overplaying Xavi, Puyol etc.
Not giving enough chances to youngsters like Tello, Montoya and Bartra
Not changing tactics (persisting with false 9 against strong teams)
Not benching under performers like Pedro Pique etc.
Failing against every big team except Milan 2nd leg
Doubts about his health and ability to lead the team

Do tell me why shouldnt Tito resign?

The offensive started to go down the last months of Pep era. Tito havent been able to change anything, but instead now the whole team has lost all their inspiration and motivation to work for eachother.
Its like noone wants to win and its just anotehr day at work.

Barcelona needs a coach with new fresh ideas, not someone that works in the same tracks as Pep like some kind of shadow. Someone that are great at motivating, that is as active on the sideline as Pep was
