Franck Kessie

Barcelona sold those players as clubs were willing to pay for them and all those years folk claimed Barca couldnt sell anyway.

There are no clubs out there who would willingly pay more for Kessie refusing to do so due to FFP rules.

Doesnt work like that and makes no sense... if clubs want Kessie and are willing to pay more they will try to.

Moriba was sold for 17m odd in a worse financial situation than now anyway so that goes against the argument.

Terrible example to use.

Folk on here massively over play how much Barca as a club can demand for players is the reality.

Nobody is saying that. What is being said is clubs are trying to get mid tier, low demand players on the cheap due to Barca's predicament, one largely created by Tebas. There's is a difference between what you are claiming is being said and what is being said.

Okay, how much do you think, Barca could get for Semedo, Paulinho, Moriba, and Malcolm today? Anywhere close to the 180m equivalent we got back then?

They are not though. There is no club who would be willing to pay more for Kessie that is refusing to bid due to FFP rules. If they value him at 30m they would be prepared to go to that to get him.

Moriba is a terrible example as said as he was sold under worse situation than now.

The fee on Kessie is based on interest in him.

There were a number of reports of EPL teams wanting to sign him in January. There are teams interested but they're not showing their hands.
Since Juventus and Barca are broke we have a sort of informal agreement that we'll help each other out. As usual they've come out and low balled us. Our idiots are desperate to get some money plus getting rid of his wages so we can register players.
Tebas wet dream has come true. Turn la liga into another Bundesliga. His financial rules are fucking all teams and giving them to sell at a lower price. Look at Villareal.
The European Super league can't come soon enough.

Busquets and Kessie replaced with Gundogan and Romeu. Midfield depth is pretty much same as last year which I thought was already a little light.

Hope so we can offload Kessie to SA for 20mil, or get some deal with Tottenham for Lo Celso or someone like that.

Not in the squad against Milan. He's chilling with Dembele which I hope means that he's on his way out.

Both are getting sold. We'll probably get 25 for Dembele and 15 for Kessie. A total of 40 million in todays market which 8s what McTominay is worth 😂
Played for suckers as usual.

Should have offered Kessie half of the transfer fee.

Everybody is going to want that in their contract now with us.

Al Ahli have just submitted official bid for Franck Kessié! Proposal arrived in Barcelona offices — €15m fee Understand Kessié has accepted three year deal offered by Al Ahli, up to final details. Deal very close, advancing also with Barça ready to sell Franck.

Worked hard, did his best, mostly played okay or well IMO.
Good for him. Rooting for him to get that money.
