It's just one of those things I can feel happening. Like when we won the CL.

I think that Ribery has his heart set on Barca. I see Ribery as a kind of guy who has great morals and one who would set aside a huge paycheck to play for a team like ours.
I truly believe that the only thing stopping Ribery from joining us is the transfer fee for Bayern. If we put a bid in for 40, Real Madrid can easily outbid us and will most likely do that.
We need to stop this Ibrahimovic bullcrap and get move onto Ribery and Villa

Your absolutely correct our saving grace as far as ribery is concerned is Laporta's frienship with Uli hoeness.
He won't accept a bid without leting us know about it first.
as far as villa is concerned who wants to bet me tomorrow of the following day their will be an official reporting saying that villa's has joined Madrid.
We made a bid of 35million euro's in January for him witch was rejected and that was our final price.
bottom line ribery should be our focus villa is gone.

The thing that has really helped Perez sign these players is the fact that he is a billionaire with very very powerful friends Milan didn't even put up a fight neither did united witch is very wierd.
That's why roman calderon besides the fact that he was a crook didn't even come close to bieng as rich as Perez.
Even though when it comes to being a president of Real Madrid it doesn't matter how rich you are you cannot use your own money or gain any money from the club.
These transfers are very fishy very fishy

Ribery has got to be the number 1 priority. With Madrid seemingly happy to spend spend spend, then we must secure him. I am not overly worried about Madrid buying Kaka & Ronaldo, as they were not Barça targets. However, Ribery (and possibly Villa) are and we should pull out all the stops to sign him.

Transfer fees are going to be a problem, Bayern simply do not have to sell. They have bought 7 players and still don't have the need to raise funds! But as somebody has pointed out, hopefully Ribery's appeared love for the Barça way, and Laporta friendship with Hoeness then hopefully that will swing it in our favour.

There are only minor tweeks needed to our machine, but this one would make it near-on unstoppable.

I think we won't get anywere close to Ribery, because of several reasons.

First of all:Bayern said he's unsellable, or at least they are demanding a hell of a lot of money.

Second: following L'equipe, after recent events (Kaka and Ronaldo), it seems that Ribery has said he's heart on Real

Third Real in interested and have still lots of money to spend

And finally fourth: Barca already put a tag on him of about 40 million, or make it a little bit bigger: 50 million. Well that is way of the target value Bayern wants, and i don't see Barca getting much higher then 50 million.

Like i said before, time to search other possible targets.

for me, henry is perfectly fine in that position.. the only thing i want money spent on is cesc and ibra and maxwell for abidals backup. nothing else..

Nobody knows how they can spend this kind of money.
And they aren't even spend out. they had 250 million euro's for transfers this summer.
And i recon they are just past half way that money.

It's insane, and at this moment there doesn't seem to be a logical explanation. As said by Sali i Martin, a board member (with the suits, and world expert in financial structures).
Anyway they are doing it.

the financial situation will have to rectified by the clubs members, sooner or later, and then we'll see what happened and how.
They are possibily in hugh debts, but in a way it's all legal, so it seems.

But when you think reasonable, it's hard to believe where they get the money from, because they have been spending these last seasons, and now even more without a trophy this year.

EDIT: i think Barca could do the same, but barca has been working towards that zero deficit, which will revenue money on the long term. Laporta has made it one of his topics to reduce debts in high tempo, so i doubt Barca will spend the same amounts, although, a season with 3 trophys generates an extra financial input.

We even have this TV-show in Sweden called "luxury trap" or something (I guess other countries have their own versions) where people spend more money than they earn and they bring in specialists to help them out :eusa_think: How stupid is that? You can't spend €110 if you only have €100 - if you're not Real Madrid. They hope they will sell off players that would bring €100-150 millions. The rest is marketing and a larger fan base etc. But they are taking a very big risk cause' it can backfire. But it doesn't seem like they care about it, and that pisses me off! One have to be responsible and pay one's dues. It's not only that it's a high risk and it doesn't seem like they give a fu-k about the consequences - but they are undermining every other club. OK, soo we want Ribery and in an 'normal' world he would cost max €40 mils or something - and now try to go to a bidding war with Man U that just got over €90 mils for 1 player.

It just doesn't look good in times when many people loose their jobs and are struggling financialy to buy some queer gelly douch for over €90 mils. I thought these transfer sums were ridicouls already the last couple of seasons.

These stats don't reflect his real potential at all I believe. He would be a wonderful thing to Barca.
