In truth we have a great team with Ronaldo but without we dont have that special player who can score goals from any situation.

Rooney is amazing he is a team player with talent but Ronaldo is a superstar with a difference he could win titles alone .

Anyways back to the Ribery chat I think he will sign for us to be honest Fergie will be gunning for him now he has lost Ronaldo.

I don't think you'l be hurt too much by his departure to be honest, other players will step up to the plate and if your lucky the team will have an increased team spirit because of his departure. If you keep Tevez you stil have Berbatov and Rooney aswell. Fergie will work out a Premier League competing squad from what he's got.

this would be very foolish and bad business.. it would also be hypocritical after slamming madrid for spending that.. Ribery is worth maybe 30 or 20 and hleb but not that much.. i know tixi and joan smarter than this

Yeah, Henry was very good this season, but Ribery would be more productive and has a few more playing traits than Henry, such as skill and speed, but from statistics (Last season) Ribery only got 9 goals and Henry got 19.
although Henry is more of an attacker than Ribery, i'd preffer Ribery over him, more years and we need a big signing.

For the same price I would rather have Zlatan than Ribery, providing that Eto'o stays. A Messi-Zlatan/Eto'o trident playing in a 1-2 setup would be much more potent than with Ribery:

1. More freedom for Messi to escape marking, exploit the weakness of the opposition's defense and capitalize on the huge holes created by the 2 CF
2. A better scoring chances conversion rate
3. Impracticality of man marking by the opposition
4. The capacity to backtrack and assist in defense without leaving a gap upfront
5. With the possession of good attacking fullbacks (Alves-Zhirkov) + Messi + Eto & Zlatan's capability to play on both wings; the loss in breadth would be negligible if at all
