The fact he was even renewed was tragic enough before the possibility of minutes
Just a pity renewal he begged his way back in for minimum wage
There is a Barcelona reporter on TalkSport saying that the club need FDJ out before we can register three players or something..
He is been told he is not wanted , not in Xavi?s plans and hasn?t been invited on the pre season tour

Barca needs the money to register 3 new players but have enough money to pay him out. Seems contradictory.
What is also contradictory to ?Xavi not rating him? is that it is also reported multiple times that Xavi does not want to sell FdJ unless there is a suitable replacement, the likes of Bernardo Silva have been named. But now all of a sudden, conveniently during the time Laporte is talking of reducing his wages, Xavi doesnt rate him anymore?

I hope there would come to mutual agreement, id like for frenkie to make the step forward to staying in the club, one way or the other. About deffered wages from pandemic thats a thing club should pay him no doubt, but still after that id like him to renew on lower salary, in range of fati and pedri with 85m release clause. If not, then fuck it

I don't think the club even want him to take a wage reduction, they want him gone. Xavi doesn't rate him. Club and Frenkie probably thought a top CL club would be interested but we are left with this mess, literally gonna have to pay the guy to leave kicking and screaming.
