Xavi hasn't learned yet. He's still a young manager that believes the 2012 internet discourse of those with the best technical skills are world beaters. He'll find out that YouTube highlights, Twitter fantasy lineups, and living in the past are not the reality of the modern game.

Tuchel said they're planning to add 2-3 quality players before the end of the transfer window. Assume Frenkie is one of the guys they're looking to sign.

Not sure about the Chelsea link. Don't they need strikers and defenders? their midfield is probably fine for another season.

I think both Kante and Jorginho's contracts are running out next year? They probably want to bring in a replacement or two now.

There is also information that Barcelona owes Frankie around 20 mil. euro from past two seasons. Neither United nor Chelsea wants to pay that amount as well as his transfer fee. The situation is getting very complicated because if we cannot cut his salary from our payroll books, we will not be able to register the new players. And Frankie himself does not want to move out.

I think this will be the key move for Frenkie to get the message and get the fuck out.
As long as we don't get his replacement, he can play hardball and refuse to take wage cut.

When he sees Bernardo coming in, being registered, he would know he has 0 chances of playing as the Sergi-Bernardo-Pedri will be fixed in md, and as subs Gavi and Kessie might play ahead of him.

We cannot register our new players, more less to add another one. We have to sell Frankie and Memphis in order to do that.
That said, if somehow, we can get rid of both Dutch man and sign B.Silva we will have one of the best midfield trios in Europe in B.Silva, Pedri and F.Kessie as a defensive beast. It's time for Busy to play reduced role and Gavi and Nico to get more playtime.
