according to parisunited psg is still the favorite but everything is open.
they are very very reliable when it comes to psg news......

I refuse to believe De Jong is that dumb. A talent like him could get the whole package, top salary, one of the greatest clubs, top league, 98.000 people who get to watch him play, follow the footsteps of his idol, Cruyff, El Clasico at least twice a season guaranteed...

Don't get agitated by each and any tweet that comes up at the minutes.

Both sides are saying the player has their preference and maybe they are both saying the truth. I mean, his agent is maybe saying that to all the different parties involved to get the better deal possible.

Only reliable information will be from the official clubs or his agent or the player himself.

Also, the press from netherlands is quite quiet for such a sensible topic (and they shouldn't be biaised for any club, be it City, Barça or PSG). I guess negociations are fierce and they don"t want to talk before things get done.

So yeah, so far, nothing new.

PSG have already had discussions with Ajax, while Barca have not (recently).

Look at their tweet:

'the decision belongs to the player and his agent'

That decision will be finalized once Barca and Ajax agree on a transfer fee.

This transfer can only be fucked up by our board, as the things seem to stand now.

I think it's clear that Frenkie prefers Barca, but if we don't submit a bid and secure him, he will end in Paris.

We will obviously submit a bid.

I don't think it will be in the 75m valued by Ajax. If I were to guess, I'd say 50-60m + add-ons. Just depends how Ajax will feel about that.

So basically back to the drawing board as if the commotion in the last couple of days never happened?

Maybe TV 3 trolled all of us.

Update:

[tw]1083390533526011906[/tw]

It says that Barcelona view both operations as difficult from a financial POV but they can be done and the objective is to buy FDJ ~70m and sign Rabiot on a free with a signing bonus.

Barcelona refuse enter in a bidding war for the players, which might be the case with Rabiot going by todays news.

But it confirms the objective is to sign both players not just one.

And he is saying that Frenkie wants to know if he is going to play! I think if the club signs Rabiot, Frenkie will not sign.

Xaviesta tagged me in a post as if there were an official announcement already. I come here and all I see is the same old stuff we always see from Spanish media.

TV3 confirming Miguel Rico's report saying we do have an agreement with De Jong and all that is missing is the agreement between Ajax.

Paris is his favorite due to commissions promised by the club but Barca is pushing hard. His agent will be in Paris next week.
