Adriano seem to play better as LB vs RB. With Alves playing RB, Pep will either give a start or try Adriano while Abidal will hold the fort with Pique.

No... He really wasn't. Some people on here clearly don't know what they are talking about.

He failed on gijon's goal. As he had failed against hercules. After scoring gijon stopped attacking, Militon improved because he wasn't being pressed anymore.
He's failing in every game. So yes, he's been bad lately.

This wasn't the first time he tripped which led to a goal. Look at Barndoor's goal during the Messi show <_<

Milito his speed and accelatering are too slow for this Barca.
If you play defensive line high you need fast defenders.
Puyol isn't neither the fastest, but his got much more vision then Milito. Also Puyols tackling, pace and cooperation with piqué is much better.

Let's not hang the guy without a trial.
Was he really that bad?

He's not bad for the whole game, but at his position, if you let in just one goal a game that is kind of a lot. I don't think we will see much of him the rest of the year, his legs do not seem up to this level of competition.

He had one bad game (first game back) and last game Pique was equally as awful so he gets just as much flak for that goal. You people are clearly reaching for a scapegoat like someone said and it's really pathetic. Milito has pretty much always come through for us. He is slow yes, but I can remember more than a few times when he cleared and swept effectively on defense and this was Gijon when our entire team played awful. Accountability should be spread to the whole team collectively. Messi was bad, Pique was very bad, Xavi was bad, Masch was decent, Max decent, etc.

The whole team was bad, yes, but this is not the first time Milito fails and a goal is the result. Pique was also ver bad, but this is one bad game for him. Milito's not the same, he was also bad for argentina against portugal.

Yeah, Pique as to blame but Milito had an opportunity to block Barral and didn't.
I don't want to judge Milito based on 2 appearances because as Pepe said, he was very reliable last season.

The problem here is Milito has been bad in every game he played, and is responsible for alot of goals that Barca conceded this season, its not only 1 game anymore.

If we are talking about slipping, let's not forget that in recent clasico Puyol slipped atleast twice going up against CR7 (with the end result being deadly crosses in the box) and he wasn't crucified like this. That was clasico too. Also, Milito doesn't necessarily need to be lightening fast, when he gets back to position his job is to play defense and clear/distribute which he does pretty well. Hope he does well if he plays.

We didn't concede then, and it was madrid. But when Milito plays, we concede. Betis, Gijon. I like the guy, but he's been terrible after the last injury. Pep shouldn't play him until he gets better.
