Gabriel Milito

Nope. Some people just need a scapegoat. Pique was just as much at fault for the goal and was much, much worse throughout the game, but he's not getting half the criticism Milito is getting. "Blame the Marquez" is no longer an option, so "blame the Milito" it is.

Exactly. Gabi is the new Rafa.

He's starting to pass the point where you can blame "form". A few off games is bad form, he's been pretty abysmal every time he's stepped on the pitch since coming back from his last injury, which is unusual because he usually gets back to form very quickly. And don't act like Marquez was simply a scapegoat last year, the guy was a disaster and single handedly cost us multiple games.

I do blame him for the goal, although alves was nowhere to be seen and pique got spanked... i'm still unhappy with him with that 3-goal defending shocker vs betis, but i'm proud of pep for sticking with him

I think Milito did pretty well and held his own considering his injury/lack of minutes.

You may be right, but it doesn't matter. He should've done better on that first goal, and he didn't. If it was abidal there instead, that goal would never have happened.

I think it's more the case that Mascherano and Milito are questioning their quality really. They've both started and now all-of-a-sudden, they're benchies

He wasn't bad as people make him to be but the goal was his fault since he slipped and lost his mark.

Yep definitly his fault. Very rarely you see opposition going past 2 barca players like that because the second one is always there for support. Milito just stood there and let him go past him like nothing. Terrible cover.

He started pretty bad... I was afraid we were going to concede which we did of course. We might say there was a fault from his side too, but I think later on he's been good. Some late tackles were pretty good and he did some sweeping job well too. But regardless I think this should be his last season with us

Botia was better than him yesterday I suppose

Every time Milito plays, the probability of not winning the game increases until critic levels.

With the way Pep uses the RB and the LB offensively, the defensive midfielder and the two center backs need to be very quick and attentive so that they cover for the RB and LB who run down the sides.

Milito simply seems not be able to concentrate and get his skills together.
