This. He is perfect for a counter-attacking team because of his speed, strength, and style of play. With a team like barca however he would stick out like a sore thumb. He has virtually no agility, taps the ball like 3 yards ahead of him while dribbling, he isn't a good passer, he's a ballhog, he dives, and his crosses are blind. Yes i know he is an amazing crosser but only in the scenario where he just whacks it into the penalty box and someone runs in and heads it. Well we have no strikers like that on our team and our wingbacks have to send in well aimed low/ground crosses to the forwards. And i'm not trying to bash him or anything because everything he does works on a counter-attacking team. But with his heavy touch and reluctance to pass i can guarantee he will be less than useless against a team that parks the bus. Well aside from this i am extremely glad we brought Alba in to end this Bale nonsense.

Bale is horribly overrated anyway. A diving cheat. He's extremely inconsistent but on his day a very good winger, other than that, he's not even top five in the Premiership, he'd be well behind the likes of van Persie, Suarez, Mata, Hazard and even Rooney,

If he were to move to any club in Europe he'd best fit Real Madrid purely for their counter attacking threat, though that'd mean displacing Ronaldo, and that aint happening unless he decides to either go back to Man Utd or try his hand with PSG.

They could try playing Ronaldo as a full time striker, but that's not very likely with Higuain and Benzema in the team
