No they're not, no way they are going to win Champions League or La Liga.
Ancelotti despite have a decent champions league record cannot win it this season because of other teams ( Chelsea, Bayern, Dortmund)
And btw Ancelotti's league record is horrible
Nah, they just sold their best centre forward and might decide to rely on Benzema. With an aging Alonso it will tough for them to win anything next season. Maybe if they get another striker as well, but Bale will likely take some time to adjust to La Liga as well.

They're are going to buy a replacement for Alonso... Verrati and Kondogbia are options according to the rumours. They sold Higuain, but the may buy Suarez so...

Exactly. And honestly, saying that it will be tough for Madrid to win a trophy next season is a bit too much. They have a brilliant squad and manager, they could easily win La Lliga or Copa del Rei.

What does this have to do with anything? There's no denying that Madrid will be contenders for all major trophies this season. Saying otherwise is ridiculous.
Verrati, Kondogbia and Illa are all inferior to Alonso. Maybe in couple of years one of them will hit his level but for now there will be a downgrade in that position.
They could win the Copa, but La Liga is going to be tough for them. They lost the league by 15 points this year, they need to seriously improve a lot. None of their signings so far are likely to make much immediate impact. Certainly not in comparison to what Neymar could offer for Barca.

If you believe neymar(a player with no european experience) will make an immediate impact,i see no reason why you suggest isco(a important player that has champions league and laliga experience)carjaval(best rb in bundesliga) and illaramendi(one of the reason soceidad are in fourth place) will not make an impact.because you are barcelona fan,don't let that cloud ur judgement. They have had a better transfer window,they have a better squad and depth,they strenghtened most of their weakness why we have only gotten neymar.

Alonso is one year older and declining. Modric and Isco are competing with Ozil, just like Illa competes with Alonso, yeah they are good players but they don't offer an improvement. Carvajal is the best best but still unproven, and still has to be seen if he can perform better than Arbeloa.
As for Neymar, you can see from the Confederations how much quality he has to offer, and that he can do it against Spain and Italy, two of Europes top defensive teams. And the key point, he's competing with what Alexis, Pedro, Villa and Tello had to offer. The scope for improvement is very clear in comparison to the new Madrid players.
